5 Lessons learnt from Liverpool’s win over Bournemouth

4) Liverpool need a set-piece specialist

Liverpool are still not creating enough goal scoring opportunities from corners and free-kicks. This I feel is largely due to the quality of deliveries. It seems that Jordan Henderson is now the set-piece taker but at times his deliveries let him down.

In the past we were so used to Steven Gerrard taking responsibility but now that he is gone, someone else has to step up who offers quality and accuracy. Liverpool get so many corners but we hardly score from them, this needs to be rectified.

It will also be interesting to see who Liverpool’s new penalty taker will be now.
