Tiago Ilori joined Liverpool this season from Sporting for a fee of £7million. The 20-year old Portuguese centre back was brought in as a player for the future. But with Liverpool having experienced centre backs such as Agger, Skrtel, Sakho and Toure, it is highly unlikely that Ilori will get a chance to play regularly in the first team at this stage.

In a bid not to get him stagnated on the bench and in the reserves, loaning him out so he can be playing regularly will bode well for his progress.
