With Jose Enrique’s continually niggling injuries, it may make sense for Rodgers to go out and buy a new left back in January.

There are not many quality left backs available on the market so it may be difficult to bring in someone this January but I am sure in the summer there will be many available and hopefully we will have the lure of Champions League football to bring them to Anfield.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for German International left back Dennis Aogo. This could be a decent option to buy in January if he is available for a suggested £2.5million fee.
