Daniel Agger is another option that could be looked at at left back. Although he is a central defender, he is able to fill in at left back which would mean Sakho could return to play in central defence alongside Skrtel, which for me is a much better central pairing than Agger – Skrtel.

Rodgers tried to play Sakho at left back against Southampton and that experiment failed so there is no chance of us seeing Sakho at left back but Agger could still be an option as he is much better going forward than Sakho.
