Tomorrow Liverpool travel to Glasgow to take on Rangers in another pre-season game. After Liverpool only managed to draw against Villarreal in midweek, I am sure the Reds will be out to look for a victory tomorrow and also score a couple of goals. Hopefully we will see new signing Robbie Keane partnered upfront with Fernando Torres for the first time. I am sure the two will get to play atleast 45 minutes together as we are dying to see how this new combination is going to shape out. Do not expect them to ‘click’ straight away, it is going to take a bit of time and lots of hours on the training ground for this partnership to work well.

I am sure Rafa is going to start the match with what many would consider a full strength team and leave out some of the youngsters who have impressed in pre-season on the bench. It is time for the ‘real team’ to start gelling together and against a tough opposition such as Rangers; this will be a good work out for the team.

Some of us have been worried by the lack of goals we are scoring this pre-season but we should not be worried. Even Rafa is not worried as he knows the goals will come, it is just a matter of time. My hope is to see the following starting lineup tomorrow: Reina in goal, Dossena on the left, Carragher and Agger in central defence and Arbeloa on the right. Plessis in the holding role in midfield, Gerrard and Alonso in support, Upfront, an attacking trio of Torres, Keane and Kuyt.

I see Rangers giving us a really good game but we should pull through with a win or a draw at the worst. Game kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday.

I’m not a huge SPL fan, but I really do not like the Boston Celtics here in the NBA. That has led me to be prejudiced against Celtic FC. This being the case, I have a bit of a soft spot for Rangers, so I’m excited for this friendly. It’s good to grow Liverpool FC in Scotland and keep a strong connection there.
    Hopefully 3-0 LFC. =)
