Yet another signing by Rafa, and yet again another signing for the future. Liverpool completed the signing of David Ngog today from PSG. Ngog is a 19 year old striker who has put pen to paper on a 4 year deal at Anfield. It is highly unlikely Ngog will feature much this coming season in the first team and will spend some time in the reserves. As I mentioned yesterday after the signing of Emmanuel Mendy, Rafa is putting together a team for the future and the signing of Ngog today just goes to prove my point.

Ngog played in the French league last season, scoring once in 18 appearances. I will not make much about this statistic as I am sure he is a better player than those statistics. My only concern is that David Ngog is related to former Rangers and Newcastle defender Jean-Alain Boumsong. Now Boumsong was not exactly one of the best defenders around, in my own opinion I think he was terrible. Thus I hope Ngog does not take after Boumsong.
