Liverpool bounced back from a 2-0 defeat against Arsenal to trounce Fulham 4-0 at Anfield on Saturday.

An own goal by Fernando Amorebieta, followed by Martin Skrtel’s header and a brace from Luis Suarez handed the Reds all three points.

Liverpool could easily have scored more goals and really embarrassed Fulham. When it comes to picking a man of the match, matches like these are always difficult as many people in the side played well.

Brendan Rodgers decided to revert back to a 4-3-3 formation after having played with a 3-5-2. This meant that Liverpool reverted back to two central defenders which saw Agger come back into the side after failing to regain his place following his gym injury. Toure and Sakho made way in the side and I am sure the two are going to want to fight back and get into the starting eleven again.

Glen Johnson also returned after missing the Arsenal game and the England full back put in a brilliant display against Fulham, showing us all how important he is in the side when it comes to going forward.

Many fans have been slating Steven Gerrard but I am sure they are quiet now after seeing his near perfect performance against Fulham. Gerrard was on point with his crosses and corners in this game and looked back to his best spraying passes from the middle of the field.

Philippe Coutinho also started this match and was a joy to watch. He linked up play between the midfield and strikers brilliantly and he is going to be a key player for the Reds going forward this season.

Upfront, Suarez was amongst the goals again, grabbing a brace and even trying to claim the own goal. Sturridge did not have his better games for Liverpool but still carved out chances to get onto the scoresheet.

It is now up to you the fans to vote for your Man of the Match for the Fulham game:
