5 Possible changes including Gerrard omission: How Liverpool should line up against Fulham

Number 10

Victor Moses and Jordan Henderson have been filling in at number 10 but thankfully that experiment is coming to an end with the return to fitness of Coutinho. The young Brazilian playmaker was sorely missed when he was out with his shoulder injury but he made a successful 45 minute return against Arsenal. Now he is ready to start against Fulham and provide the creativity much needed in the side.

Molby added, “I really like the idea of Philippe Coutinho playing in that 3-4-1-2 system in the role just behind the front two.

“I expect him to start against the Cottagers and I think that’s where we’ll get the best out of him.”

The fifth and final changes sees Coutinho introduced to the starting lineup.

Strikers

For as long as they are fit or not suspended, I expect Brendan Rodgers to stick with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge upfront. Against Arsenal, the partnership was not at its sizzling best but that was largely due to the lack of opportunities from our midfielders who were being strangled by Arsenals.

Against Fulham, it should be a much more open game than the one at the Emirates so I expect to see SAS returning to their goal scoring best.

To wrap it up, this is the lineup I would like to see against Fulham: Mignolet, Enrique, Sakho, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Lucas, Henderson, Coutinho, Suarez, Sturridge.

What would your lineup be?
