John Aldridge has raised a very interesting question in the Liverpool Echo today, where is Craig Bellamy?
The last we heard from Kenny Dalglish with regards to Bellamy was prior to the QPR game and he said Bellars was carrying a niggle. “I don’t think Glen will be available and maybe not Bellers either, but we’ll wait and see,” Dalglish said.
“The boys who played on Sunday haven’t really trained since, so we’ll see how they are this morning. They’re coming in later on and we’ll analyse what we’ve got
“It’s just a niggle (with Bellamy).”
Bellamy did not feature even on the bench against Wigan which has raised Aldridge to ask the question , “Have Bellamy and Dalglish had a bust-up?”
Aldridge said, “The last time I clapped on eyes on him was when he left the pitch at Sunderland still looking full of running.
Since then he has been nowhere to be seen – and we’ve had precious little information about why he’s not been involved in the last four matches.
People are starting to put two and two together now and making five. There are conspiracy theories and people suggesting that Craig must have had a bust-up with Kenny.
That could all be avoided just by telling us whether he’s injured and when we might see him back in a first team squad.”
