With the Carling Cup Final taking place on Sunday against Cardiff, Kenny Dalglish is going to find it rather difficult to pick his starting lineup as we have a wide range of options to pick from. But I am pretty sure that Dalglish already knows his starting eleven for the bug game by now, it is up to us to try figure out what Dalglish has gone for.

Dalglish is going to have to go out and attack Cardiff on Sunday, I see no point in us try to sit back and beat Cardiff on the counter. We are the superior team and thus it is up to us to attack and let Cardiff try beat us on the break.

With that in mind, I do not see Dalglish making many changes to our defence. Reina will be in goal with Enrique and Johnson as the wing backs with Agger and Skrtel in central defence. As much as it would be fitting to give Carragher a start, he will have to see this one out from the bench.

The fun and games now begins in midfield. If we were playing a bigger team, Dalglish would most likely opt to field Jay Spearing as the anchor in midfield. But I do not see a need for Spearing to start on Sunday and we should rather go with Gerrard and Adam in the middle of the park.

Stewart Downing has hit some form now and should occupy the birth on the left although I would be tempted to give Bellamy a start there. If I were Dalglish I would have Downing on the left and Bellamy on the right but I do not think Kenny will be that aggressive and he will keep Bellamy on the bench and let him come on as an impact play.

The right side of midfield will now be up for grabs between Henderson and Kuyt. I think Dalglish will give it to Henderson. Upfront it should be Suarez and Carroll as their partnership seems to be starting to work now.

Who would you like to see start on Sunday?
