There is some good news for us Liverpool fans, considering the horror of Saturday at the Reebok Stadium. Lucas is back at Liverpool following his knee surgery in Brazil.

Lucas was back at Melwood today as he now starts he road to full fitness and hopefully we can see him back in the Liverpool red soon.

The injury to Lucas has been one of the reasons why we have had a stop-start season. Our defence has been relatively solid thus far and a lot of that has to be down to playing with a defensive midfielder. When we have Lucas or Spearing on the field, we look so much more solid.

Just take a look at Bolton’s first two goals on Saturday, if we had a Lucas or a Spearing on the park, I doubt Bolton would have been given that much space.

Playing Gerrard, Henderson and Adam is simply not working and it is something Kenny Dalglish has to look at as a matter of urgency. Gerrard is the playing coming deeper as Adam and Henderson go ahead of him and this is not where Gerrard should be. Gerrard should be in the final third of the attacking field, where he is more effective.

How I wish Lucas was not injured, he is a critical part of what we are missing right now.

Am happy for Lucas hope he will recover soon, But we need creative players in this January transfer window we need a striker and a very creative midfielder, if we dont sign now we forget about the top 4 and this will be really bad for the clubs.

I think all we need now is God to intervene in our current condition cos the way i see things going with LFC is becoming so ordinary and it makes my heart bleed. I love this club so much so God give Dalglish all the wisdom he needs to take us back to our glory.
