We are only a few hours away from kickoff at Anfield for the Premier League tie against Stoke. It is not going to be any easy game at all as we all know how physical Stoke are going to be. Couple with our relatively poor form at home, this is not a banker of a win for us.

But be that as it may, the lads are buzzing following the win over Manchester City. The return of Steven Gerrard to full fitness and him committing the rest of his playing career to the club has been a much welcome boost to the club.

Looking ahead to who we think will start today: Reina will be in goal, Enrique should return to the starting lineup at left-back in place of Martin Kelly, which will see Glen Johnson back to his familiar right-back slot. Agger and Skrtel will continue to the heart of the defence, although I may not be surprised if Kenny decides to play with an extra centre-back to combat the aerial threat of Stoke? That could see Carragher start at the expense of a central midfielder.

In midfield, Spearing is very much doubtful to start following his hamstring injury against Manchester City so Charlie Adam should come in for Spearing to partner Gerrard and Henderson in the middle of the park.

I see Dalglish making some chances upfront with Kuyt coming in at the expense of Bellamy with Downing continuing on the left and Andy Carroll spearheading the attack.

Some my prediction is: Reina, Enrique, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Adam, Henderson, Gerrard, Kuyt, Downing, Carroll.

Who do you think will start against Stoke?

if it happens that kenny start andy carrol again in this game that lfc need to win then truely kenny is has no experience in this mordern football,if so why should kenny decided to bench bellamy and maxi instead of drop carrol, and i dont think that kenny is seriouse about taking lfc to top 4 which every one has seen that for now carrol is not yet to his best,am not sure kenny knows what he is doing and if lfc did’nt move to top 4 i advice the club owner to sack him (kenny).

@Williams” Of course, Dalglish is serious about qualifying for the Champions League. The problem is Dalglish is incapable of doing just that. After having bought a donkey (Carroll) and a couple of mules (Henderson and Downing), he praises them for their performances even though they consistently struggled to make the grade. Simply put, Dalglish is out of his depth.

what do they called u whether jordanhouse or jordanforest i can see that u know nothing about football,am telling now that lfc could’ve been in 2 if not 3 position following the money kenny spend last transfer window just look at arsenal which started the season poorly look at them now and arsenal did’nt spend anything compared to kenny, believe me if kenny could’ve sign a top finisher or always start kuyt or maxi or bellamy together with suarez by now lfc could’ve been holding 2 or 3 place firmly but kenny always made wrong starting line up that’s why we (lfc) found ourselfs in position on the table.
