It was about time someone credible cam out and spoke about the rumours linking Andy Carroll to Newcastle, and who better than Kenny Dalglish.

The Liverpool manager was quick to squash any suggestions that Liverpool are ready to sell Andy Carroll back to Newcastle for as little as £10million after we spent £35million on him a year ago.

“I am worried about the people that invent them,” Dalglish said when quizzed about the rumours linking Carroll with the move. “You have absolutely no foundation whatsoever (for the stories).

“I don’t need to justify what is in the paper. I have stood up – and always will stand up – for the players.”

If Carroll’s price tag hadn’t been so high ( and stupidly so ) then he’d already be on the transfer list but because of the cost to the club Dalglish will continue to stand by him. AVB is doing the same thing with Torres at Chelsea.

Better convert him into centre back. No need to look for other centrebacks.

As the man who paid 35m for this piece of trash…I would hardly call him credible…

I have to blame KKD @ this point. Carroll is doing close to nothing for LIVERPOOL. Nearly cannot kill a bird & so is Carroll in goal form for LIVERPOOL. KKD not admitting that Carroll is a mistake, to me, its quite annoying. CARROLL has been a flop for liverpool & thats yet to change.

i really want carrol to perform at Liverpool and show every body else he is not a flop, but there more i want this to happen the striker keep on disappionting.
Sometimes he has been unlucky while at times he has been very week.
maybe we need to give him another season
