After Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Chelsea last night (Tuesday), we are now through to the semi-final’s of the Carling Cup and just two games away from making a trip to Wembley.
The draw for the Carling Cup semi-final’s takes place tonight after the Manchester United and Crystal Palace game. Manchester City and Cardiff City are the other two teams that will be in the draw tonight.
The semi-final’s are a two legged affair and the first leg is scheduled to take place in the week commencing January 9, 2012, with the return on January 23.
With our luck thus far in the draw for the Carling Cup, where we have not played a single game at home yet, watch us draw either Manchester City or Manchester United (if they qualify). But at this stage I am not really too worried about who we play as I feel we are capable of beating anyone right now.
It shouldn’t really matter who we get in thew Semi as we have to beat whoever it is, However with would be nice for an all Manchester semi. Although it more likely (Hot and cold balls in the bag) for the semi’s to set-up a proable Manchester final.
Which ever way still think we’re favourites with no euro games to play.
Yes, i AM a proud kopite.i hope they give us cardiff
We already know who we play. Its obviously Man City.
isnt it also funny weve been drawn away evey game so far?
we have been playing away all the previous games we diserve an easy draw Cardiff
bring on the manchester teams and see how we will destroy them.
It is possible 4 us 2 beat any team, but we are going 2 use cardiff 2 step to d final.
Typical Premier League arrogance. Write Cardiff off at your peril, Remember Northampton Town and Barnsley and the last time you played Cardiff it was only 2-1.
Different seasons, different circumstances, very different teams. The way Liverpool have been playing lately can you blame them for being confident? I wouldn’t write off Cardiff, but they should certainly be worried if they draw Liverpool and the reason Cardiff should be worried is because Kenny and this Liverpool team WILL take them seriously, whether their fans do or not. All questions are answered on the pitch.
Stay on the road, it has been kind so far when facing the top three
Cardiff will do the players real good to make an even draw for what we called an odd draw(away all through). But dont be quick to write cardiff off cause they can be spoilers. YNWA. forever
What a load of rubbish by the England FA. Why would they want to pit a premiership club against a championship club in the final. This is an open knockout comtetition and let the open draw decides.
F*ckin? tremendous things here. I am very satisfied to look your article. Thank you a lot and i am looking forward to touch you. Will you please drop me a e-mail?
