Agent confirms Liverpool have enquired about signing midfielder

There may just be another Lucas at Liverpool in the near future! Reports suggest that Liverpool are in the hunt to sign Brazilian starlet Lucas from Sao Paulo.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is being chased by a whole host of top sides in Europe including Chelsea and Inter Milan. It is suggested that a bid of £15million may be enough to tempt the Brazilian side to sell.

Lucas’ agent has confirmed that Liverpool have enquired about signing the midfielder. “Chelsea, Inter Milan and Liverpool have demanded details from me and Sao Paulo knows the situation,” he said.

“At the moment they are not interested. Perhaps in the summer they may negotiate but only an enormous offer could change things as I want continuity for the player for a couple of years.”

    Dont be in a hurry to sign this Lucas otherwise we may regert. Scout around for more suitablr candidates to take over Gerrard’s role

    We need players who get past one or two players to creat something out of nothing,just like what johson did against chelsea and what suarez,mata ar known for.

    I think KD should open his eyes beyond ENGLAND.Mata,Silva,Aguero,Ramires etc are all foreigners and their impacts are instant.Our own Downin,Carrol are still strugling.Each time Maxi is picked,he rewards KD with a goal.
