There are not many words left to describe Luis Suarez’s brilliance. The Liverpool striker scored twice on Wednesday night as Liverpool progressed to the 5th Round of the Carling Cup. Kenny Dalglish himself did not know what to say about the number 7 especially after his brilliant opening goal.

“I ran out of words to describe him after a week when he came to our club. His first was a fantastic goal, but I don’t think you’d expect him to score with a tap-in would you?

“He could have taken one before that and maybe it would have been more comfortable for us, but it was worth waiting for.”

Following the match, Stoke boss Tony Pulis called Suarez, one of the best three players in the Premier League today. “There are three players in the Premier League – [Sergio] Aguero and [David] Silva at Manchester City, and this fellow – who would grace any team in the world,” Pulis said. “He is a special player.”

Do you agree with Pulis?
