Spanish international defender Raul Albiol is being linked with a move to Liverpool.
The Real Madrid centre-back is also rumoured to be attracting interest from Spanish outfit Malaga and Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City. However, Liverpool’s need for a central defender seems the greatest following a 4-0 loss to Tottenham and an injury to Daniel Agger.
Kenny Dalglish’s side have bolstered their ranks with Uruguay’s Sebastian Coates but with Agger injury prone and Carragher in decline, the Scot could make a January swoop for Albiol.
Albiol, 26, hasn’t featured for Madrid this season but did play for the Spanish national team in the 6-0 win over Liechtenstein.

or if Suarez go the other way then may be?but no way Suarez is liverpool legend now..
What’s the point in linking us with a January swoop for Albiol stating we need a defender to cover Agger’s injury, when Agger will be back long before January.

Not going to happen; he is Spanish. We probably ‘ll go for Cahil, Showcross or Dann, for in between 12-16mn. Every top non British plaer ‘ll leave after knowing the treatment Pacheco, Acqualini, Mirales & now Kyut is getting, that too for the likes of Henderson, Adam, Carroll & Downing. Shame.

1/ we have cover for him already (Skrtel, Coates and Wilson)
2/ Agger will be back in 4 weeks not 4 months
