The future of Alberto Aquilani is set to be decided by Thursday. The Italian midfielder is on the verge of joining AC Milan on a season long loan.
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport: “We have taken a great quality player [Aquilani], right for Milan. Now our market is more than closed.”
Gazzettago on to claim that Aquilani will be in Milan on Thursday to undergo a medical to finalize his move ahead of AC Milan beginning their Serie A title defence at Cagliari on Saturday.
This will bring to an end one of the longest running transfer sagas at Liverpool this summer.
Go, Aqua and never come back.
To RAFA:
You should never buy a player, who don’t want to play in your country.
What a waste of we have made…
Money wasted, but I hope we can secure a good price from his sale to be reinvested as we still need a right winger and a striker
