Luis Suarez could feature against Sunderland on Saturday despite the striker only recently returning to training following his summer success with Uruguay in the Copa America. It was thought that Suarez wold be given extra time off so that he can rest but he has since returned to training at Melwood and Kenny Dalglish has said that Suarez could play on Saturday.
Dalglish told his pre-match press conference: “He’s [Suarez] trained and has no problem. We’ll wait and see how he is tomorrow.”
The player himself is ready to play if need be and I would not have expected any less from Suarez as he is 110% committed.
Suarez tweeted today: “Last day of training. League starts tomorrow and I hope we have a great beginning!!”
I am not sure if Suarez will start the match, it would be great if he could, but I see him as coming off the bench if we need him. Hopefully we will not and we will win this match comfortably.
