Stewart Downing seems to have settled in very well at Liverpool. His performances are getting better and better with each passing game. His recent performance against Valencia was a joy to watch as he terrorized the Spanish side down the left. What was also encouraging to see is how well he linked up with Fabio Aurelio. If Aurelio remains fit and we do not sign a new left-back, we could have a very solid left side with Aurelio and Downing.
