As all fans are aware many column inches often derogatory in nature have been published with much scrutiny being made of the pre-season form of our team.

I’m sure you will agree that pre-season often brings more questions than answers…who will play? Who will be dropped? Who will stay? Who will be sold? What will the team be on the opening day of the season? I ask the simple question and ask for your opinion….is pre-season merely a shop window for players no longer wanted by LFC?

The recent games evidence this with Poulsen, Aquilani, Ngog, Cole and Insua all receiving adequate playing time. One should ask how these players feature in Kenny’s plans for the coming season, I am not suggesting that these players are not decent. I am however asking if the clubs apparent eagerness to sell/release is affecting the pre-season build up?

I personally would prefer some of the younger academy prospects being given 15/20 minutes against lesser oposition such as Valerenga and Malaysia XI. Connor Coady showing his potential already with Wisdom, Suso and Sterling all capable of following Flanagan and Robinson into the 1st team squad.

Would it not be more prudent to blood some of these prospects than give Poulsen et al more playing time to ultimately disappoint? Our pre-season has not been the best, however I believe the position Kenny has been put in by past poor purchases may ultimately affect our start to the season. Again I ask the question….pre-season or ‘shop window’?

OurKop.com would like to welcome Billo to the team

You did not include Degan in your list, it’s hard to beelieve that he is still on tthe books and we are still paying his wages, are we paying these deadwood plaayers fto much that they think about their bank account more than playing the game that they has given them a living make that a GOOD living.

It’s a yes from me. Listen, if we manage to get Poulsen and Cole off the wage bill then it’ll have been a resounding success.

yes. rafa and woy made some really bad signings. is it any wonder the old owners didnt want rafa spending money when so many of his purchases were so poor. i think the only thing holding us back from making more signins is our wage bill.

Without a doubt, its been overwhelmingly about showcasing the talents of those who must be unloaded. It looks increasingly that cole will move on, jova is gone, things are going as planned. No need to stress about results this p.s.we only need look to sunderland next sat. I, for one,. Am feeling confident.

Ps. If enrique and, by some miracle cahill were to sign, good f’n god, well be ready to roll this season. And I do believe gwtting rid of cole and jova will bring us much closwr to that goal. //crosses fingers.

We need rid of ngog, poulson, jovan, degen before the rest! That would free up wages for cahill, enrique and maybe another winger!
