I have never been a fan of Christian Poulsen at all and I have been hoping that he would be sold this summer. The Danish midfielder is still determined to stay at Liverpool and fight for his career but I think Kenny should just have a word with him and tell him that he is not good enough for Liverpool and he must leave.

It’s not exactly in our hands though is it? The dynamic has been the same since the dawn of man: to sell you need someone to buy. Until then continuously lagging him off when he’s clearly not in our plans anyway is fruitless and does nothing positive for the club.
It may sound strange but he has played reasonably well in pre season. His passing has been more expansive than at any point last season and he has looked composed on the ball. Signing him at 30 was an obvious mistake but we shouldn’t make this a witch hunt with this type of video in the same manner as we did with Lucas. This pre season he Has shown definite signs of improvement and those of us who have watched him in pre season will probably testify to that. No matter how Poulsen performs he will always be viewed on last seasons displays much in the same way Lucas is for his early form. Higlights tell us nothing. show us a video of Poulsen in the above match and his on the ball contribution. Based on his pre season form He is not the best Liverpool player ever and neither is he the worst.
Give him a pen n peice of paper he couldnt mark that either. Terminate his contract hes never been good enough but sadly a year and half ago this was the type of player we could get because of H & G.
Matter of fact, worse still you advocate his selling by highlighting to possible buyers his deficiencies? Smart approach lads.

He is quite awful and that is being kind to him as a member of the human race,but he has his flaws and apart from the fact he has nothing to offer liverpool fc he shows the greedy side of his nature by willing to stay at a club where he is not wanted by the management and the fans,the man has no self respect and dignity,he must be told to find another club.

i totally agree but i’d also say the rest are not good enough, adams was shocking in are last game gave away the penalty and didnt track the runners which ment he gave away fouls on the edge of his own box.im not a big fan of lucas but carnt wait for him to get back. i’d play lucas and gerrard (when fit) and meireles just behind carroll with downing and are awesome suarez wide . henderson has done nothing in pre-season just like his england under 21 tour. i’m hoping king kenny can work his magic on these players but i still think there were better options at a better prices than the players we bought

We are paying him silly money. He is at the end of his career. This is his last chance to make that kind of money. Because of this we will never be able to get rid of him unless we do as we did with Jovanovic and agree to pay a big amount of his salary for the rest of his contract. Thanks alot uncle Woy!
