The Blackpool Gazette is reporting today that Liverpool winger Tom Ince will be joining them as early as today (Friday). Blackpool had long been tracking Ince throughout the whole summer period and there are suggestions that Liverpool may have agreed to sell Ince to Blackpool as a sweetener for the Charlie Adam deal.

The report goes on to state that the 19-year-old winger was given special permission to play 45 minutes of Blackpool’s 1-1 draw last night with Latvian outfit Jelgava at Bloomfield Road.

Ince held talks with Pool chairman Karl Oyston afterwards and is to be confirmed as Pool’s ninth summer signing today.
