Reports coming out of the USA suggest that Liverpool have signed 18-year-old striker Villyan Bijev from Cal Odyssey on a three-year deal, according to a report from Californian news channel KMPH Fox 26.
Bijev was on trial at Liverpool and featured in two games for the Liverpool Under 18’s and the striker scored four goals in those games including a hat-trick against Stevenage Borough.
There has been no official announcement yet from Liverpool with regards to this deal so we are treating it as a rumour for now until something concrete is said by the club.
Judging from what we saw in the two games he played whilst on trial, he looks like a very good striker and could provide a lethal partnership with Adam Morgan upfront.
