Kenny Dalglish is still looking for a new left-back to come in this summer. The manager spoke from China saying that there will be more signings made this summer by the club.

Dalglish said, “Hopefully we will do some more business before the window closes but I’m not going to sit here and give you names because that’s disrespectful.

“We are looking to bring other players in and that could mean we expect some to leave. That’s football. But we have a while to go yet and we’ll see what we can do.”

One of those players who could be coming in this summer is Lyon’s left-back Aly Cissokho. Liverpool have been keeping an eye of the French international left-back after missing out on Gael Clicy. Now Lyon have come out and said that if they get a good enough offer for Cissokho then they will sell him according to their manager Remi Garde.

“Aly is an important player for us, but if an offer matches our expectation, he is likely to go,” Garde told L’Equipe.

The fee that is being mooted is £8million for Cissokho. Now Liverpool would be able to afford this if they think Cissokho is what we need. Another names we have been linked to are Newcastle’s Jose Enrique and Everton’s Leighton Baines. But right now it seems as if Cissokho is front of the queue.

ElPistoleroJFT96 has provided us with some footage of Cissokho against Monaco so we can see how good this player is.
