Following Sammy Lee’s departure from Liverpool by mutual consent last week, Liverpoolfc.tv reports that Kevin Keen has joined the Liverpool coaching staff.

Keen had been widely tipped to join the Liverpool coaching staff as soon as it was known that Lee was leaving. Keen worked with current Liverpool coach, Steve Clarke at West Ham and he acted as Caretaker Manager for West Ham on three separate occasions.

Kenny Dalglish spoke about his delight in having Keen join the team. “I’m delighted that Kevin is joining us to work alongside Steve Clarke coaching the First Team squad. He has previously worked with Steve at West Ham and has a good reputation and a good manner about him.

“He is highly respected in the game and will be a great addition to our technical staff.”

I guess now we just have to wait for the announcement that Steve Clarke is the new assistant manager.

Welcome to Liverpool Kevin Keen!

Chip, you are an arrogant tosser!! Can’t wait for Liverpool to spank the Mancs again!! We are coming to get you!!

    Again?

When exactly have liverpool “spanked” Man Utd….lets see

Man Utd = 12 premier league titles

Liverpool….. fill in the blanks here StevieG.

3-1 in your cup final is irrelevant if you finish 20 points behind them with zero trophies…and no european football.

    Next year though eh dippers…

Mancs are obsessed with Liverpool!!!, spend more time talking about us than them….ha ha ha……..Mancs are on a treble of final hidings now, I can’t wait to see the next Barca humiliation.
As for Keen im happy as Kenny has been ruthless and the old pals act won’t work at Liverpool, since Kenny walked in we were 2nd in the league table, roll that out and Liverpool would have easily been in the Champions League. Kenny massively improved the same players and Suarez is the new nemesis for the Mancs (how funny was he against the Mancs), pure class!!!!!

Liverpool are at a huge advantage by not playing in the UEFA cup next season, training and gelling the new players in the week. This will be a blessing for Kenny and Clarke, come the christmas period we will be fresh still………………things look very very good for us now….
