The Under 17 World Cup is currently taking place now in Mexico and Liverpool’s own Raheem Sterling is making all the headlines for England as he has helped them get through to the quarter-finals. England normally do not do so well in these youth tournaments but there is a feeling that this current crop of youngsters have what it takes to go all the way.

Whilst Sterling is making the headlines, Liverpool striker Adam Morgan is also putting in a decent display for the England team. Morgan came on for Sterling in the last match against Argentina and he played a brilliant cameo role which can be seen below courtesy of ElPistoleroJFT96.

Morgan has a great future ahead of him as he had a brilliant season with the Academy. This coming season he will look to step up to the reserve team and hopefully get hist first team debut at some stage. Liverpool are investing a lot in the youth at the club and this was seen when Morgan together with Tyrell Belford and Stephen Sama were offered new deals by the club.

Liverpool have Andy Carroll as the current number 9 and a lot is expected from Carroll this coming season. The strikers determination to succeed evident as he reported back to pre-season training for Liverpool earlier than everyone else. It will be a big season for Carroll as the pressure is on him to deliver after his big money move from Newcastle in January.

It is been suggested that Liverpool are in the market for another striker to back up Suarez and Carroll this coming season. We missed out on signing Wickham who joined Sunderland but the search continues. If we are not able to find a decent striker this transfer window, who is to say that Adam Morgan may not be fast tracked into the first team.

Besides Morgan, we still have Pacheco & Suso.

  2. Ady says:

Suso is an attacking midfielder that can play on the right and so is pacheco tho he can also play behind the front man like Suarez. If u gona make a comment at least know what ur talking about !!! both players u named canot and will not EVER play right up front !!!

Actually we should go and buy the young ivory coast under 17 striker Souleymane COULIBALY or Valencia’s SOLDADO
both are goal scoring machines !!!
