How I wish I were talking about Liverpool signing Japan’s star player Keisuke Honda. Honda is one of the player who has been linked heavily with Liverpool in the past but a deal was never struck and of late he has not been linked with a move to Anfield. I hope though that Liverpool do consider signing Honda in the summer as he is a great talent and would be an excellent commercial signing for Liverpool as we will be entering the lucrative Asian market by having an Asian player play for us.

But Liverpool have struck a deal with Honda, the motorcycles. Honda Motorcycles, the number one motorcycle and lifestyle brand in Thailand, today announced a three year partnership with Liverpool FC. The partnership will see Liverpool FC kicking off A.P. Honda Co. Ltd’s marketing campaign in Thailand – where The Reds enjoy the support of millions of football fans.

Ian Ayre, Liverpool FC’s Managing Director said: “We know that Liverpool FC has a strong fanbase in Thailand which was highlighted by the excitement generated by our Tour to the country in 2009. This partnership with A.P. Honda Co. Ltd will enable us to engage with that fanbase in a fun and exciting way through the ‘Discover Your Fun’ campaign. We look forward to a long and successful association with one of Thailand’s leading lifestyle brands.”

I am so glad we have a business minded person at the helm in Ian Ayre as he is looking out for how best Liverpool can generate cash so that we are a profitable club!

I WISH that titles to stories weren’t so misleading. I don’t read crap like this. If you want people to read what you write, be creative in the actual story, not the title. I never read garbage like this, sorry.

the clowns who have made comment above dont realise how important it is for lfc to generate new funding so stop moaning about misleading headlines and accept the story for what it is
