Maxi got his first hat-trick in this match as Liverpool ran riot. A Liverpool win was expected before the game but very few thought that we would win with such ease and by such a big margin. We must not forget that Joe Cole got onto the score sheet in this game!

Personally I thought that the 3-0 victory over Manchester City deserves a mention. It was an absolutely dominant display and was a better performance, both in attack and defense, than our home win against Birmingham or our draw at The Emirates and against a better side.
