Liverpool’s 5 Worst Games of the season

Newcastle 3 – Liverpool 1

On the 3rd of December, Roy Hodgson took Liverpool to St. James Park where in the past we have done very well but this time we came stuck as Newcastle, under the leadership of Alan Pardew in his first game in charge of the team, beat us 3-1.

Kevin Nolan gave the home side the lead after 15 minutes before Dirk Kuyt levelled shortly after half-time as Liverpool turned up the pressure and looked the side most likely to go on and take all three points.

But late strikes from Joey Barton and Andy Carroll ensured it was Pardew and not Roy Hodgson celebrating come the final whistle as the Reds succombed to their seventh league defeat of the season.

The Wolves game at home has to be voted as the worse game. It was the only time supporting Liverpool that I knew what it was to be an Evertonian. Watching sh*te football and watching a manager who hadn’t a clue. The bitterness started to grow and it was something I did not like. For me to feel that way, Woy (the mad owl) will never be forgiven.

Why is the Rovers game on this list?. If this defeat got Roy Hodgson sacked, then in my opinion it cant be the worst game of the season. I would rather have put the 2-0 loss to Everton after which Roy mentioned that we played well and lost. When it was plain for all to see that the managers tactics were all wrong and the players were not upto the task on that day.
