As we look back at the games we will like to forget from the season that just ended, it is no surprise that the worst Liverpool games this season came during Roy Hodgson’s time at the club. Roy Hodgson took the team through some of the lowest moments in the clubs history. But thankfully Kenny Dalglish came in and gave us more good games than bad.

Blackburn 3 – Liverpool 1

The first game we look at as you decide which was the worst game of the 2010/2011 season is probably the game that sealed Roy Hodgson’s fate as Liverpool manager: the trip to Blackburn on 5 January which Liverpool lost 3-1. That game will be remembered mainly for Steven Gerrard missing a penalty which some people thought he missed on purpose so that Liverpool would lose and this Roy Hodgson would get the sack as Liverpool boss. That is exactly what happened as that was Roy’s last game in charge.

The Wolves game at home has to be voted as the worse game. It was the only time supporting Liverpool that I knew what it was to be an Evertonian. Watching sh*te football and watching a manager who hadn’t a clue. The bitterness started to grow and it was something I did not like. For me to feel that way, Woy (the mad owl) will never be forgiven.

The Northampton game should have been on the list

Why is the Rovers game on this list?. If this defeat got Roy Hodgson sacked, then in my opinion it cant be the worst game of the season. I would rather have put the 2-0 loss to Everton after which Roy mentioned that we played well and lost. When it was plain for all to see that the managers tactics were all wrong and the players were not upto the task on that day.
