Roma boss Claudio Ranieri has welcomed reports he is under consideration for the position at Liverpool. When I first heard this I was like, “WTF?” Ranieri of all people being the Liverpool manager? I do not think so!

Ranieri, who finished second in the table with Juventus in 2009 before taking charge at Roma, led Chelsea to the Champions League semi-finals before his dismissal in 2004 and appears ready to return to the Premier League. “I am happy that a team like Liverpool are thinking about me,” he said. “I am very proud to lead the team of my home city, but there are pros and cons.”

I am sure Liverpool are looking for a manager to take over from King Kenny in the summer if Dalglish does not do well. I am still a believer that we should give King Kenny the full backing he needs for next season and then we can take it from there. Dalglish has taken over a team mid way through the season and he will not be able to turn them around over night. With Dalglish in-charge we will more than likely be able to retain our keys players such as Gerrard, Reina and Torres for next season if they know they will be working under Dalglish. If they hear that someone like Ranieri is taking over, they may just jump ship.

If we do end up looking for a new manager in the summer, please do not let it be Ranieri!

this is the manager who rejected Xabi Alonso for being too slow and signed Christian Poulsen instead. Who needs pace when you can pass a ball round corners, Raneiri could do us all a favour and resign Poulsen please

Hi, I’m the Kop from Thailand. We fully support the King. (Most of the kop in Thailand call Kenny just ‘the King’) We are looking forward to see him reign permanently. His return lighten up the old kops (over 40s), some were crying just seeing him got out of the tunnel at Old Trafford. The young kop are crazy about him because he is so smart, wit, and fun. No one else is capable to bring our glory back except for our King. No Ranieri, please.

If you guys want to do a campaign to get the King rule Anfield permanently just give us a shout! We are at http://www.thekop.in.th
