John Henry has left the decision of Liverpool’s stadium future in our hands. We have three options currently on the table: redeveloping Anfield, building a new stadium or building a new stadium and sharing it with Everton. Any plans on the later options have been left in the fans hands as John Henry declared: “If the fans don’t want it it’s difficult for the clubs to do anything about it.” So we as the fans should stand up to this and let Mr. Henry know that we will not accept sharing a stadium with Everton at all!

John Henry went on to say, “Obviously it’s the fans who come here, so while it might make sense if you’re building a new stadium if the fans don’t want it it’s a non-starter.”

Would you want us to share a stadium with Everton?

I agree – I don’t care if it’s easier to build a new stadium if we share – we want our own. Imagine Arsenal telling their fans that the Emirates was going to be for them and Spurs – well it’s the same thing – not a chance.
