Roy Hodgson has narrowed down his candidates for the Liverpool captaincy for the game tomorrow against Bucharest. Hodgson said, “I’ll have to give it some thought but there are two possibilities. Pepe Reina is one, and in some ways he’s the obvious choice, but there’s also Soto Kyrgiakos, who’s going to start on Thursday. You choose someone with a good track record at the club who’s been here for a number of years, and someone you know will have the right attitude that could possibly rub off on the other players.”

To me it is a no brainer, Pepe has to be given the armband.
