Now before we all get excited about the possibility of having one of Europe’s greatest prospects, Bojan Krkic, being a Liverpool player, I just want to say in advance that there is no mention anywhere about Bojan coming to Liverpool but I just want to look at what would happen if by some miracle Bojan were to come to Liverpool and how is brilliance at Barcelona could actually help us.

Sports News - October 23, 2008

Now Bojan has come out and said he wants to stay at Barcelona for many years but there are suggestions he could be sent out on loan next season so he gets some more first team experience. Now I am not sure if Liverpool would be the best place for a player like Bojan to get regular first team experience as we know Rafa loves to rotate a lot and he has not given much of a look-in to the young players on a regular basis.

Bojan is another product of the Barcelona youth academy and he is one heck of a player. I would love to see Bojan player for Liverpool. He could be just what we need to play upfront with Torres if need be or to fill in for Torres when he is injured or rested. But I think a Gerrard – Bojan – Torres combination would set the world alight!

Yes we have Pacheco who is another product of the Barcelona youth pro gramme but he has not been given a run yet in the first team. My hope is that Rafa may see how successful Bojan has become at such a young age that he (Rafa) will be tempted to unleash Pacheco and Nemeth into the first team. Pacheco and Nementh could save us millions in the transfer market as they could be the answer to our striking crisis when Gerrard and Torres are not available.

So with that said, “Is Bojan Krkic the answer for Liverpool?” Yes, in the sense that I hope the ‘Bojan Case Study’ at Barcelona will give Rafa the confidence and faith to unleash Pacheco and Nemeth into the first team. “Would I love to see Bojan play for Liverpool one day?” Offcourse!

  1. He won’t suit out style…to light on his feet and can’t tackle. This is what Rafa always looks for in a player. I have my fingers crossed Pacheco gets the nod for a few games…

He would play upfront with Torres, this lad is great on the ball, and scores goals, just what we need.
