The Champions League is back again at Anfield this season as we take on PSV tonight. I am actually feeling very confident going into tonights game as I feel we should win this one without too many problems. With the way the team is playing now, confidence must be sky high and we all know how well our team plays at Anfield on a European night.

But as Rafa will always say, we should not be too confident as anything can happen in a game of football as we saw Hull beat Arsenal on the weekend!

We are in a much better position this time around in the Champions League group stages compared to last year. After our win in Marseille we should hopefully be able to get the 10 points we need to qualify nice and early and thus take some pressure off us and concentrate on the league.

Taking nothing away from PSV, they are a good team and Rafa has said they are much better than they were when we last played them. But I am sure Rafa has studied PSV and has come up with the right tactics to beat them. As always, it will be interesting to see which 11 Rafa starts with tonight. I am sure Mascherano is going to come back into the side most likely at the expense of Alonso. I do not see Rafa making any other changes to the side that started the Merseyside Derby. Maybe Babel in for Riera but I always like the see Babel coming off the bench and running at tired defenders in the closing stages of a game.

I hope Keane and Torres start upfront again and this time I have a feeling Keane is going to get onto the scoresheet. He just needs that one goal and what a better setting to get it than at the Kop End on a European night?

My prediction tonight is a 3 – 0 win for the Reds.

Well Ron it’s that time again – the Guru is back! My prediction 3-1 LFC… so far i’m 2/3 accurate for the season. Haters better recognize.

Well I hope i don’t put a hex on LFC tonight but the way our defense is playing I can’t see PSV getting to much out of the game. They have to go for the win I think after getting beat at home in the last CL match so if they push forward they could be open for a quick counter. So I say two nil Pool.

Wooooah, 3-0 s a little steep. We haven;t scored 3 ALL SEASON. I say 2-0 tops, but we will get the shutout
