As the transfer window is set to close in a few hours time, many of us may have thought that Rafa was going to make a big last minute signing. Well, he has made a signing, of Brazilian Vitor Flora on a free transfer. The 18-year-old striker holds an Italian passport and spent the last campaign with Botafogo. Not much is known yet about this young Brazilian but we all know the potential that Brazilian strikers have.

If he turns out to be half as good as the Romario’s and Ronaldo’s of this world then we would have a bargain deal considering we have signed him for free. I guess Flora will spend some time in the reserves and work his way up. Flora joins fellow Brazilians Fabio Aurelio, Lucas Leiva and Diego Cavalieri in the Liverpool squad. The Brazilian flavour at Liverpool is set to be growing bit by bit and may start to rival the Spanish.

OMG !!!! Man City have priced ManU out of sight for the signature of Berbatov – how funny would that be. The so called Top4 better watch out if this Abi Dhabi crowed put their money where their mouths currently are with regards to how much money they have for the Blues. How good would it to see ManU as the 2nd best team in Scumchester.
