I do not get this one, weren’t Liverpool meant to get in the region of £10m for the sale of goal keeper Scott Carson? Now it looks like Carson will be leaving Liverpool to join Stoke for only £4m. I think maybe Rafa realised that no one was willing to pay £10m for Carson and I think he has just decided to cash in now and get the cash and use it in his quest to get other players. But since Liverpool have signed Brazilian goal keeper Cavalieri, there is now back up for Reina so Carson really can leave. I am really shocked in the drop of valuation of Carson from £10m to £4m, I hope this is a wise piece of business. Carson is a very talented goal keeper and has a lot of great years ahead of him, that is why I had thought we would get quiet a bit of cash for him.

I think we should have let him go last year. I don’t really see him turning out to be as terrific as everyone else seems to quite honestly, and am glad to take what we can get for him before he is worth even less.
