FIFA U-20 World Cup Semifinal: Chile v Argentina

Reports this weekend suggest that there has been an approach from an English team for the services of Argentinian wonder kid Sergio Aguero. Aguero is an amazing player and was named the best player in La Liga last season. The Atletico Madrid players agent has admitted that an English team has approached him but the team is not Chelsea. The really leaves Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.

How great it would be to have Aguero at Liverpool but somehow I doubt this will happen as we would not be able to afford him. Aguero will most likely not be sold for less than £30m and there is no way we have this amount of cash to spend on a single player, unless we make Xabi Alonso as part of the deal. Watch this space; this could be a shock signing for Liverpool.

He’s one of my favorite players in the world. I’d be very exciting to see him slot into the side.

  2. Ron says:

I gather that Aguero is a boy hood Liverpool fan. That could be a good thing if by some miracle we are able to get him to come to Liverpool.

what about babel and 20 mill for aguero.

what about voronin and 15 mill for silva.

what about getting dossena back to italy, there is few clubs who are and have been keeping an eye on him.

add that to the sales of itandge, hammil, hobbs, leto, lucus, degen thats going to grab us nearly £18 mill.

the owners are giving rafa 30 mill plus player sales, so that almost covers the silva and aguero stuff, add another 5 mill to that out of the deadwood sales and we still have enough to get srna at right side
