Well, we started off with a win and that’s always a good thing in my estimation. We looked the livelier of the two sides, and Benayoun’s goal was a bit above the class of their keeper. Pacheco also showed that he was two and three steps ahead of the League One side, something that you would expect out of a Premiership player.

Assuming a strong pre season, I think you may see Pacheco taking on the role of a major summer signing himself. One of the most highly touted Barcelona prospects to come along through the ranks was a major coup for Rafa. Perhaps we have our own Cesc on our hands here. I certainly would be all in favor of a cheap swindling and reaping the rewards sooner and then later also.

On the transfer front, Rafa said two new signings are still to come and he hopes to have some news in the next few days. So keep your ears open and your browsers tuned here, as we’ll get the news up as soon as we see it floated out there.
