Liverpool have completed the signing of left-back Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiacos for a reported fee of £11.75 million.
The 24-year-old Greece international, joins the Reds after penning a deal at Melwood today (Monday).
Liverpool had been on the hunt for a backup left-back to Andy Robertson and they have finally gotten their man.
Tsimikas has featured 86 times for Olympiacos in all competitions and helped his side win the domestic title this season whilst also playing in the Champions League and Europa League.
“I’m very happy, I’m very proud to be here. For me, [it’s] the biggest club in the world. It’s an honour to be here and I will give my best,” Tsimikas told Liverpoolfc.com.
