Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that midfielder Adam Lallana will be unavailable for the Reds’ FA Cup game with West Brom due to injury, reports TeamTalk.

The 29-year-old has been out due to a hamstring injury and has recently made a return.

But now in a sad twist of fate, the midfielder appears to have suffered another knock and the boss has voiced concerns about the player’s stamina.

“We have to think about it. Adam Lallana has a little issue and I’m pretty sure he will be out of the next game,” said Klopp.

“Adam [Lallana] had a long injury and needs time again to adapt to the intensity of the Premier League.”

Lallana has been part of the Liverpool squad since 2014 and has tallied 94+ appearances for the Reds.

Klopp will be left to decide about possible replacements with Jordan Henerson waiting in the wings, and Dejan Lovren ready to face the Baggies.

Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League with 47 points, only three behind Chelsea.
