Liverpool will be faced with the absence of midfielder Emre Can in their upcoming fixture against Premier League champions Leicester City, whilst Ragnar Klavan is set to be assessed and is a doubt for the match – the official club site has confirmed.

Emre Can is still nursing an ankle injury he picked up in the Reds’ EFL Cup win over Burton which occurred on August 23, also 30-year-old Klavan looks unfit to play as he picked up a nasty knee injury during international duty with Estonia.

However, some good news is that goalkeeper Loris Karius has returned to the training ground following his surgery on a broken hand and could even be on the bench for the first time.

Another player on the list of ever growing injuries is Sadio Mane, but is adamant he is fit to play following his mishap during his international duty, meanwhile James Milner is looking to carry on responsibilities at left-back.
