Inter winger Ivan Perisic has told calciomercato.com that although he is happy to stay at the Italian club, he is not ruling out a move in the summer.
The 27 year old has been linked with a switch to Liverpool or Chelsea and the Croatian commented:
“I have a contract for five years, I am finishing the first with four remaining and I think I’ll be staying here. But you never know in football, it is the law of the market and if you play well it is normal for others to take an interest. But if someone is interested they will have to talk with Inter.”
Perisic only arrived from Wolfsburg last summer for €16million and it has been speculated that he would cost almost double the amount (€30million) if he was going to be sold.
The winger has had a solid season in Italy with nine goals and five assists in 36 matches in all competitions for Inter this campaign. He played previously under Jurgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund between 2011 and 2013 but was sold to Wolfsburg for €8million after the player criticised his manager for not giving him the support he needed. Whether Klopp and the player have patched things up now for a move to take place remains to be seen.
