Lille attacking midfielder Sofiane Boufal is the subject of interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, reports France Football.

The Reds have good relations with Lille after the sale and loan back agreement for Divock Origi last year, and they have enquired about the Moroccan international, but Spurs have also entered into the running for the player after having discussions with his representatives, according to the French magazine.

Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg are also looking at the 22 year old but he is unlikely to stay in France as Lille are demanding €20million, an asking price only Paris Saint-Germain could afford.

The Moroccan only joined Lille from Angers for €3.5million in January 2015 and his former club would get 15% of any transfer fee which is likely why the Ligue One side are demanding a high fee. His performances this season have been good however with 11 goals and 4 assists in 27 league matches. He can play as an attacking midfielder, in the centre, on the left or on the right.
