Liverpool are tracking Ajax’s Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik, according to calciomercato.com. Inter Milan are said to be looking for replacements for striker Mauro Icardi but Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona are also in the mix for the 22 year old, according to the Italian website.

The forward has a contract until 2019 with the Amsterdam club and may cost up to €12million. He only joined Ajax permanently from German side Bayer Leverkusen last summer after initially being on loan for the 2014/15 campaign.

He replaced Kolbeinn Sigþórsson wearing the club’s number 9 this season and has repaid the club’s faith by scoring 21 goals in 29 league games, 4 goals behind leading Eredivisie scorer AZ’s Vincent Janssen..

Milik is strong both in the air and with his feet, and he is also able to create chances for his teammates with 8 assists so far in 36 matches in all competitions this season. He also has 24 caps for his country since making his debut in 2012 with 10 goals.
