Sevilla are looking at the possibility of bringing Liverpool and Manchester United transfer target Sofiane Feghouli to the Spanish club, according to Radio Sevilla (reported by Superdeporte).
The Algerian midfielder’s contract expires this summer and Sevilla are keen to bring in the 26 year old on a free transfer and are willing to accept the winger’s high salary and signing on fee due to there being no transfer cost. There are hoping to tie up a deal similar to one they did with Ever Banega who signed on a free from Valencia back in 2014.
Feghouli is also interesting Turkish side Fenerbahce according to Superdeporte, although the player has had his disciplinary issues this season after he was suspended by Valencia for not participating in a warm down after Valencia’s 2-1 win over Sevilla a couple of weeks ago.
The Algerian international has had an average season with 4 goals and 2 assists in 29 matches this campaign as Valencia have flirted with relegation before recovering form after the departure of Gary Neville as manager. Interim boss and former Liverpool assistant manager Pako Ayestaran has guided his side back to 8th in the table.
