Liverpool will be joined by Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham in the race to sign Moussa Dembele from Fulham this summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

Both the Reds and Spurs have been linked with the young striker in recent months but it now looks like there will be increased competition from other top Premier League clubs as the 19 year old’s contract expires this summer.

Tottenham were on the verge of signing the player in the January transfer window but the deal fell through on transfer deadline day with a suggestion that Fulham’s request for the player to be loaned back to them being the reason for the switch to be called off.

Dembele has struck up a lethal partnership with Ross McCormack this season at Craven Cottage. He has scored 17 goals in 44 matches in all competitions this season while McCormack has scored 23. It hasn’t helped Fulham to any great heights though as Slavisa Jokanovic’s side find themselves 19th in the Championship table with 48 points from 43 games played.
