Liverpool and Arsenal are both interested in signing Lorient left back Raphael Guerreiro, reports Transfermarketweb.

Arsene Wenger is said to be in in-depth talks with the French club but both Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have also been tracking the 22 year old.

No doubt Jurgen Klopp will be looking for some competition for Alberto Moreno at left back this summer. Moreno has already appeared in 44 matches in all competitions this season and youngster Brad Smith has had to deputise in his place when needed.

Guerreiro has been playing regularly for Lorient since joining from Caen three years ago. Although born in France, he has a Portuguese father and he was called up for the Portuguese national team for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Armenia. He made his full debut in that match, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 win, and he followed that up by scoring his first goal for his country against Argentina in a friendly at Old Trafford.
