Liverpool are interested in signing Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi, according to the Mirror. He is valued by the French club at £30million but the Reds are being rivalled by Juventus and Tottenham for his signature.

Another young potential star that has come off the production line in Belgium, Batshuayi has sprung into life this season scoring 20 goals so far in 45 games in all competitions for Marseille.

The 22 year old was purchased from Standard Liege in August 2014, where he had a decent goal scoring record, and despite making very few appearances last season, he made his debut for Belgium back in March last year, scoring a goal after replacing Christian Benteke in the second half in a 5-0 win over Cyprus in Euro 2016 qualifying. He followed that up with another goal in his second international match in a 3-1 victory against Italy in November.

Batshuayi’s countryman Benteke meanwhile is being tipped to depart Anfield with Atletico Madrid and Juventus both said to be interested in the player.
